Corset trunkplasty!

Recommended Posts

I had corset trunkplasty in January of 2013. I'm about a month away from being healed. They took all the skin from under my chest down to my pubic line. I will still need some skin off of my back and thighs taken off but I'm pretty happy with the results. I know most get a Tummy Tuck but after losing 160lbs I needed a bit more help than that surgery called for! I have posted a few to show the difference!

How is that similar to or different from a lower body lift with anchor incision? Do you have a horizontal incision as well as vertical or only vertical?

I will be getting both horizontal and vertical incisions in my surgery on August 1.

I am cut from under my armpit to the other directly under my breasts. I then have an incision from my right hip down to my left hip and then a line down the middle. They took 6lbs of skin. I'm going back for a lower body lift hopefully soon. This worked for my body. It may not be what another individual needs. It was also $15,000 and its fairly new.

That pic I just posted was a week after surgery. You can see the bruising and how swollen I am but you can see what the incisions look like. No vertical unless under my chest and on my hips! Sorry if its a bit gruesome for anyone.

Thanks! The bulge on your upper thigh, is that from the surgery? Also, how will a lower body lift differ from this?

No the bulge is actually my leg. The surgery Made them swell a bit but its bad. I lost a lot of weight (160lbs on a tony frame) and need to get my legs, lower back and hips lifted so the lower body lift will hopefully solve it.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Will you have all the remaining areas addressed in a single surgery? I am getting:

(1) extended Tummy Tuck with anchor incision, mons lift, arms, breast lift with implants, thigh lip - all on August 1

(2) back and buttocks lift, medial thigh lift - future surgery to be scheduled

I want to get it all over with as quickly as I can!

It should! My arms aren't bad and due to me being so young my breasts are actually nice. I wouldn't mind filling them in a bit more but it isn't needed. The lower body lift I am looking into should fix everything but who knows! Fingers crossed! Good luck with your surgery! I hope the recovery is quick and not painful!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
