Sitting and waiting to have some blood work done. Just left my one month post op appointment. Michelle, I met with Jerry. He was VERY nice. Everything looks good and I told him I did not want a fill at this time as I am sticking to 1 cup of food and not feeling hungry between meals. Oh there's head hunger...but I'm just trying to stay busy and ignore it.

Hope you all are having a great week...they just called my name. Bye for now.

Michelle I could kiss you!! I have tried the mosquito donut things and even have a mosquito propane powered contraption, neither seem to do any good. I'm running out there with powdered detergent right after I finish my post here. If anything, it has to make the Water smell better.lol

I do have the things to make mosquito catchers I pinned off of pinterest, but I just know the raccoons will just come and dump them out. Little suckers turn over my plants all the time. They're lucky I believe we are all creatures of God, or I'd take a few of them out.

Carole, the plants I lost were just cheap annuals, so no big deal.

I too, had another bad night. I think maybe got 3hrs sleep. I can't think straight when I'm tired. I can't afford to lose anymore brain cells.

Dawn, Great job resisting all the crap at work. Its funny insurance companies are offering cheaper insurance for eating healthier and businesses are allowing employee's to advertise their crap. Bring it to work, but keep it in your desk, or out of sight.j/s My husband does that, but its only b/c he doesn't want to share.lol

Terri, I heard you were reported to Alex again. She is furious that when someone is blocked, they can reply to your post. I'm sure Alex is tired of hearing it. What happened to" if you don't like it, move on and ignore it"?

When she told me that crap, I just ignored it.Not my problem and not going to make it my problem.

I was wondering what Alex would do, ban you????

I thought this was a drama free zone.lol

Nicole, Great job on staying where you're comfortable and being able to tell the difference between head hunger and real hunger.

Sometimes its hard for me to tell. The only time I know its head hunger is after just eating and knowing there's no way I could be so hungry.

I noticed that if I have the slightest bit of sugar, gives me the hungry horrors the next day. That's my head hunger, just don't eat sugar.

It is amazing you have no complaints, other than your clothes falling off.lol You do know, if you have any problems, we're here for you.

Dee, whats the kids up to today? Hows CJ?

I had to take my 91yo friend to an eye appt early this morning and the rest of the day is mine. Thats what lack of sleep does for me, makes me lazy.

Where are you with pre, post menopause? Probably much to busy to notice.lol

Hugs to the best mom I the world.

Diane, so glad you checked in. We were all worried. Hugs and prayers to you and yours.

I did a really stupid thing..... I got some Dulcolax stool softeners (tmi), don't want to end up in ER impacted and I don't want to take a laxative every day. Makes it hard to go anywhere.

Anyways, when I got home with them, I realized they were gel caps and I know they won't go threw without getting stuck. Smart me decided, I'll bite into it and wash the liqiud down with Water, like I do with my Tylenol.

FYI, do not ever do that!!!! It has burned the crap out of my throat and made any drink or my lunch taste awful. Its been 2hrs and the burning is letting up. But boy, how dumb!

I can't imagine how that would feel stuck and disolving around my stoma, ouch.

Needless to say, back to the regular laxative.

Oh Janet...I pray your are feeling better now. What a horrible event to go through...

Nothing like experience to be the best teacher.

Sushi is acting more like herself today. Her respiration is back down to 20 where the vet wanted it to be. Jack and I are both so happy...she's the baby we dote over now.

My bad night was drinking a half of a Protein Shake towards bedtime. I know I am unable to fall asleep when I am hungry. TMI, I stayed awake for 2 hours after sipping the shake. I thought that would be enough time before lying down. About 4 hours later, it was like a PB, and I only made it to the sink. This is all very concerning and confusing to me. It was authentic hunger...and I also feel reflux if I go too long without coating my stomach.

Beginning to believe that my time with my band is limited...:(

No drama here... just an observation. I would not bother Alex with it. He has enough on his hands.

I just thought it was kinda funny. Does not bother me at all!

Doreen, you are the energizer bunny! Let me know what comes home from the animal sale? Where is the sale held? My nephew has an organic farm nears Warriors' Mark and frequents some of the animal sales. Mostly Amish ones.

It will be like the episode of the Brady Bunch when they put too much soap in the washer machine! LOL

We are expecting storms here too (2-3" of rain, hail, thunder, and some areas under a tornado watch), ugh. Heading home soon.

Have a good evening ladies.... I should leave now as those chocolates (damn it) are taunting me.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
