What do you drive?

I drive a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire, burgundy with tan cloth interior...but the best part is my AM/FM radio with no knobs. Yeah Baby! :clap2: Seriously, I love my car, it's very comfy and has been so reliable. Just normal maintenance and wear, nothing outrageous...but I haven't priced replacement radio knobs yet so who knows. :)

AS you can see from my screen name, I do a lot of river trips. This bad boy carries two very large canoes and all the gear I need for a long weekend.

It's also a great shuttle vehicle. At the beginning of a river trip, after we unload all of our stuff at the 'put-in', or where we begin, everyone drives their car to the 'take-out', where we are going to end up after 3 days of paddling down the river. Everyone leaves their car at the take out, and we all pile into one 'shuttle' vehicle, for the ride back up to where we left all our stuff - hence the need for the quad cab!

And yeah, Baby - it's got a Hemi!

I have a blue 2004 Jeep Liberty. The same exact blue one they show in the Jeep commercials. My husband drives a 2000 Chevy conversion van. We purchased both brand new. My husband would like to get a Chrysler 300 next. I told him it will be a long time away. I do not plan on us getting another car payment for at least 5 years.

Haven't yet put any of the pic's of My Bug on my site yet, but yes .. this is what I drive during the daygeeksquad.gifAt night you can find me in a 2004 Saturn ION {and no, that is not a 10-N. Actually had some lady ask me that while at the dealership getting mine serviced. I was kind enough to correct her, and yes (truthfully and reluctantly I tell you SHE WAS BLONDE! - no, not bashing blondes, some of the smartest women I have known are blondes, and some of the dumbest <take my ex ......PLEASE, take my ex ... far away and strand her some where remote :clap2: :) >

I drive a black 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. Gas kills me but I needed something I could get my ex's wheelchair in and out of. Other than the fuel costs I love it.

My DH recently traded his Impala for a 2006 Dodge Stratus. It gets better gas mileage and you can use the E85 gas. Yes, it's cheaper but the mileage really goes down when you use the E85. I'm not convinced it worth at this point.

This is what my DH uses to mow the grass......:(

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
