I am so frustrated and confused help! I am almost 3 weeks post op and i am supposed to start transitioning to solid foods by wednesday. I've already tried chicken and salmon and didn't have any problems. However, I work in home health so I am in a car all day. I bought a cooler to bring with me but I am struggling to figure out what the heck I'm supposed to eat for veggies. I just bought a lot of them to eat raw such as carrots, broccoli, and celery and I'm starting to doubt that I can eat those yet? I haven't had any fills yet. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I only know that my doctor tells me the habit of Grazing is bad no matter what you eat.

I have gotten stuck on broccoli that was steamed just a bit. No other veggies have bothered me, but I tend to eat them cooked. I have found roasted veggies are delicious.

Thanks for your replies! I don't graze at least not so far. Yesterday I brought some raw carrot sticks to eat for lunch along with some tuna I ate. I didn't eat very many but I chewed thoroughly and didn't have any issues. But again I have no Fluid in my band and wonder if that will change once I get fills.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
