I was wondering what everyone is taking for lunch? I have always had a hard time finding things I like for lunch and now it's even worse. Hopefully you all can give me some new ideas. I am 2 months post op, regular diet. Thanks :)

I may take leftovers from dinner or chicken salad or tuna salad with Special K crackers, fruit (grapes or cutie) and raw veggies (carrot sticks and cucumbers) although it is only a couple of each I do enjoy them.

Most people can eat anything/everything but just in smaller amounts and welled chewed. The hard thing for some is to eat healthy. No sweets, fried foods, etc.

Some on the forum use myfitnesspal to log their food. You can search the posts and find where many have asked for friends to be added. Once friends, you can view others food diaries.

I stay away from bread but eat wheat thin crackers with chicken, tuna, salmon salad or a small can of sardines with some fruit or veggies . Chicken chili or bean and bacon Soup. Also I get 2 or 3 pre-made chicken or turkey meatballs put some spaghetti sauce and cheese then microwave (yummy) .

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
