Hello all!! I have recently gotten my first fill which went great and am feeling great the only thing like I have read and heard from the doctors that my band is tighter when I wake up and eat that first meal of the day. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how they "wake" up their band?! I am sick of feeling that semi stuck burn in the chest when I chew/mash down a lot of what I eat for Breakfast. Should I just stick to smoother things in the morning or what?!

Thanks in advance for all the advice!! :)

I have never noticed a difference after a fill. But I wake up and watch tv in bed for 1-2 hours before taking my vitamins etc. and have my Protein Shake.< /span>

Warm liquids help, tea or coffee.

Some choose to just drink a Protein shake for Breakfast.< /p>

I drink coffee first then eat breakfast about 1 to 2 hours after I get up.

I agree with ajtexas. i have coffee 1st thing and then have my yogurt or whatever I decide for breakfast later. Anyway, I and most people do not tend to eat when they 1st get up. drink something warm to wake up your band. Good luck

I have not eaten a meal for breakfast in about 2 years....I always have a home made high Protein smoothie instead....

When my wife and I travel, I will go to breakfast with her so as not to be rude, and TRY to eat an egg white omelette or something....but is it a no go.....

As the day goes on my band gets looser.....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
