I was nauseous and my dr prescribed phenergen for it. Have you asked for that yet?

Did it work well? I've read on here that some doctors put an anti-nausea patch on before you leave the hospital. I'm guessing that all doctors do this differently.

I havent had any nausea yet (knock on wood), but i still have the patch behind my ear since before surgery, and at home i'm taking 4mg of Zofran every 6 hrs..

Yeah - I picked up my prescriptions, and Zofran is one of them. I hope the patch is standard operating procedure. I don't deal well with nausea; would rather have a root canal

My dr put on an anti nausea patch on and also prescribed phenergan suppositories.

I am so nauseated right now. Took meds for that but its not helping.

Try drinking mint tea. It's a natural anti-nausea.

Walk as much as you can. Try to get up every hour and walk. That will really help with the gas pain.

Drinking plenty of Water helps too, it's best to do water, walk and gas-x all together.
