Hello Byrd. Your profile pix look great so you are obviously doing really well!

I was banded 13 April 2011 and I'm doing great. I've lost 63kg (135-140lb I think) and so many clothes sizes that I now have an entirely new wardrobe. I have a new found energy for exercise - cycling, walking, dancing, swimming and a really positive attitude to life.

Hello July 2011 Bandsters. Been a while since I have posted..Things are going well for me. Down 124 pounds with about 10 or so to go. I am actually down to 144 pounds and a size 8. I was even called SKINNY the other day by some friends. I looked around to see who they were talking about. Feeling great, staying active (as I can for a very cold Florida winter). I just signed up to do 2 - 5K races - one in February and one in March. I am so excited. I really like to new me and all my "tiny clothes". I still have issues seeing myself as fat and yes, I still like to have a sweet every now and then, but by and large, all is well. I still see my Doctor regularly and I would do this again in a minute. Hope all is well with you guys. Stay in touch. Melinda in Florida :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
