Recommended Posts

I was banded October 1st this year ....I have had 2 fills so far I have a 10cc band and 3cc of Fluid in it.

I got my las fill last Tuesday .... I have noticed a huge diffrence I don't get hungry at all I have to make my self eat.

I can last all day with out eating anything .... I do drink my coffee and Vitamins in the morning....and I have lost 2lbs since my last fill....I'm wondering if i'm in that sweet spot everyone talks about :)

another thing I can't eat no more then 1/2 cup of anything.... what do y'all think?

Does it go away?

Not if you follow good eating habits and stay consistent with 1 cup of food each meal. The reason why people think it goes away is because they might over eat more each meal and the pouch may change somewhat.(stretch). Try and keep a certain amount of calories each day. I am around 1200-1300 calories in 3 meals. Remember if you think you're starving, drink crystal light flavor drinks, SF popsicles or SF Jello. You must control what you put in your mouth each day. Be consistent and stay in the zone all the time.

Best wishes

As you adjust yourself to the current fill level you may find after a bit that you need another fill.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
