Sex And A Port?

So I'm getting banded at the end of December. I'm curious about something, if you are on the bottom during sex does it ever bother your port? My husband is a big guy. He is 6'4" and well built so I'm worried about the pressure on my port when he is on top. Is that a silly worry to have?

My husband is a big guy too. I am 4 weeks post-op & we have no problems with the port. My port was so sore that I can just now finally sleep on my side....but sex has not been a problem.

Thanks. That eases my mind a bit. :)

My port still gets bothersome sometimes...Its all how your bodys fit together. My husband is tall and muscle and it kills me sumtimes at my port site,,if it does switch up your positions. Good Luck

Sex? People still have sex? LOL

Never had any issues.... You will have a brand new body to focus on. So will he.

I posted something similar a few months ago about how long you have to wait before hooking back up and most people said the recovery was only a few days. I too think about this a lot but figure, yes, if it hurts that way then switch, and when we are thinner girl we'll be more confident too ;) Thanks for your honesty. We only have each other.
