Goals For The Remainder Of 2012

Goals to reach by December 31st, 2012:

1. Be in Onederland

2. Be on week 6 of Couch to 5k program

3. Be able to rock a little black dress for New Year’s Eve (without wondering if I am making a fool of myself)

I figured if I put them out here into LapBandTalk world, I would hold myself more accountable! What are everyone else's goals to hopefully attain by the end of the year?

Lose 5 lbs and consistently work out for a minimum of 4 days a week

Lose 50 lbs by my birthday, December 30. I've already lost 25 since Sept. Been kinda slacking off the last month and I'm starting kickboxing.

1. Eat low carb/ low fat

2. Excersise at least 5 days a week

3. Try a zumba class

4. No alchohol

Lose the last stubborn bit of weight that I am holding onto.

Get rid of my ghosts of the past by not assuming people will judge me a certain way.

Be consistent with my water intake.

Do one thing that I have never done and always wanted to.

  1. Lose 1 more lb by 12/9... so I can hit my original goal of 160 by my 2 year band anniversary.

  2. Lose 6 lbs by 12/18 the day I am having my tummy tuck and breast lift... and then lose 5 lbs of skin during surgery so I can be at my stretch goal of 150 by New years. :)

1. Lose 7 pounds

2. Get back to working out after being banded.

3. Enjoy the holidays with family and friends and be healthy.

I've actually surpassed all my goals for 2012. I wanted to lose 100 pounds by my one year band anniversary coming in January, I've lost 168.

I was way over 400 pounds last Christmas. This Christmas, I'll be thrilled if I can be under 250, so that's my last goal of the year. Lose 4 more pounds by Christmas.

I don't really have a specific date, it's just that I started running and completed a 5k and I feel that pretty soon I'm gonna be ready to run a 10k. But you gave me a good idea, I'm gonna look for a specific 10k and prepare for it.

Good luck on yours !!!

It's the best way to stay motivated! As soon as you get back from your 10k find and pay for your 1/2 marathon! I use active.com to find mine. There are a lot of reviews on there so you can see if it is difficult, boring, etc!
