How did it go? I think I have one too!

I have one too, well the wire is completely disconnected now. I'm due to have surgery Christmas Eve "/

I had a port leak. I had my port replaced no problem it was a really fast heal. Good luck with your surgery.

I've had a port leak then a tube leak, both repaired. It's very fast. My tube has now disconnected and in scheduled for a replacement in January. It's very rare ... I don't know if it's just defective hardware, how I move, how it was placed in me ... But I have the old style band (4cc) and will be getting the newer 10 cc model.

Good luck - its no big deal!

I know it's not my thread but its great to hear its not too bad, healing wise. When I had my band fitted I felt like I'd be hit by a bus. I even said had I have known I'd be in this much pain I wouldn't have gone through with it. Now I'm faced with surgery again tomorrow, I'm really not looking forward to it, I'm really scared and due to it being Christmas Eve and and having four young children, well that all adds to it :-( x
