hmmm, I never ate any of those things.

Breakfast: Protein shake (my doctor recommends 1 a day & Breakfast is easiest for me)

lunch or dinner choices I used: tuna salad ( 1/2 can, little diced onion, low fat mayo) : egg salad (2 eggs, same as tuna): Gorton's Grilled Talapia: Soup: Lean Cuisine's (not the 30% more meals). If you get 1 with rice, be VERY careful, rice can get stuck

If I still needed Protein, I like the Pure Protein Bars (Walmart has value box at less than $1.00 per bar. Smal bites & CHEW!!!

Now I eat pretty much everything, but there are some things I have trouble with (chicken, broccoli, green Beans &bread) Can do chicken if it has a sauce, like BBQ or Orange (just for dipping don't go crazy) :)

Hope this helps.

Are you in the mushie stage? I made my family regular dinner and then I would puree it with some liquid (soup base, sauce, or gravy to thin it). It looked kind of gross but tasted good.

Hummus with carrots

Imitation (or if you can afford it, real) seafood flakes. I break it all up, add a little mayo and spices, yummy! Add a smidge of cocktail sauce to spice it up. Goes well in an omelet too.

tuna on top of whole wheat triscuits or cucumbers.

chicken breast in a can, mayo.

Lump Crab in a can.

I've heard some people use soft cheese (Skinny Cow? Baby Bell?) to mix with the tuna.

chicken Breast, cut in strips, placed in a hot sautee pan misted with butter spray. Sautee the chicken in Franks hot sauce, then spray more butter spray or use a smidge of butter. When chicken is no longer pink, remove from heat and enjoy (or not) with some LF Blue cheese, celery and carrots. Tastes like a wing without skin. I'm from Buffalo, it passes my strict standars!

Good luck finding ideas, I hopes this helps you...

What are the nutrition stats on those Walmart Protein Bars?

I eat greek yogurt for breakfast or a Protein Bar. The pure Protein are about 180 to 200 calories but they have sugar alcohols that can cause stomach upset and gas. I limit those to about 1 a week. I eat tuna, boca burgers, black bean burgers, cottage cheese, low sodium V-8 because I dont always eat my veggies, I make black bean casserole. Edamame with sea salt, sometimes but rarely chicken salad and I do not do low fat or fat free anything because the amount of fat I eat in a day is not too much. I also buy any of the pic sweet veggies in the single serving size. Protein Shakes I am done with. I don't think at a certain point you should still drink them. It is liquid calories and they do not keep you full. I eat eggs for breakfast too with a small amount of ketchup to help them go down. I hardly eat any meat because it doesnt like me. There are many things you can eat you have to try them. I thought I would never eat tofu but I love it. Sauteed in cabbage it is so good with lots of different seasoning such as dill, seasoning salt, cracked pepper. Packed with protein and taste like whatever you cook it with.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
