Gone for Good Club - April 2006

Recommended Posts

I decided that since I don't have my band yet, I would get on the exercise bandwagon. (no pun intended) So on days that my disabled body lets me - I will post my minutes on ye ole treadmill. When I reach a 30 minute goal I'll Celebrate - if I'm not passed out!

Woo hoo - I wasn't going to put a weight ticker up but then I weighed myself this morning - phew! I finally broke the darn 2 lb yo-yo I have been on for weeks now - so even before exercising I have changed my eating enough to lose something.

No exercising today - exhaustion won out over moving, maybe tomorrow.

C 273.5 (-4.5 lbs total, -2.5 this week) not banded yet

Happy band day to me! I weighed 182.8 this morning...a new low! :) My next little goal is a 15 pound loss. That will put me at wedding weight (9 years ago) and I will weigh the same as my husband. And in a few pounds I will no longer be Obese. Seems impossible, but NOT! I love my band. I updated my signature, too and have lost a bunch of inches...LQQK below! And P'nut did a great Before/After pic for me so find my bandiversary thread and check it out! Yay me!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
