Can you have sugar free vanilla pudding? Not as exciting as cake but at least you can have that while others are also eating.

congrats on your surgery and of the upcoming birthday.its best to follow your dr's orders. you are still kinda new since surgery. i agree with the other poster, sf pudding never hurt no one and its yummie :)

parties are about being with family. remember why you had surgery, to lose weight. just think of this as a stepping stone. you can do it. i know you can.

how do i know, look how far you come...

but you will get many responses most likely saying this or that, like me so if you want to know what you can or cant have, ask your dr to make sure. he may say something you dont expect.

ps my dr is very strict also.

I commend you for planning in advance too. To me that helps me avoid some of the pitfalls if I have a plan in place. I agree with sf pudding, perhaps a sf popsicle, you can make yourself a meal ahead of time too that falls into the "mushie" category.

You CAN do this. Also, as much as it may tempt you to have some, stay strong.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
