Losing After Unfill?

Recommended Posts

I was banded 4 years ago this November. Since being banded I have had two children. I started getting fills again and doing weight watchers at the same time. I really wanted to work on portions, and eating healthier. I have lost 51.6 pounds since Feb 2012. I recently started having sharps stomach pains, on and off acid reflux, and I have had issues with chicken getting stuck a couple of times this week. I have decided to get an unfill today. I am thinking 1.5 to 2 cc. I am not sure how much is in my bad, I do know that it is tight. This will be my chance to really work on my issues with food.

Has anyone had any type of unfill and still lost? I guess I am just a little scared. I workout and eat pretty good so I know I will be alright. I just want to know if there is anyone out there like me.

Thanks!!

I have had only one fill ( they put in 3 cc at the time of my surgery) I have a total of 4 cc in me now. I am also thinking of getting the doctor to take out at least a half to one cc. I had my surgery May 24th and have lost 42 lb. i am getting stuck way to often and I chew chew chew but the chicken and fish will not go down easy. I worry that I will not lose if I do this. On the other hand I do not want to live like this, not being able to eat out and I am so afraid to go to friends house for dinner. Still not sure what to do. Hugs

I ended up with .5cc being taken out. I am a little scared but I know following Weight Watchers, making good food choices, and exercising I will still lose these last 20 pounds.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
