HEY MAYERS,

wOW OUR DATES ARE COMING UP REAL FAST. hOW IS EVERYONE FEELING? i HAVE BEEN AWAY A COUPLE OF WEEKS SO MY MIND WAS NOT REALL FOCUSED ON IT BUT NOW i AM TRYING TO TUNE MYSELF BACK IN AS i ONLY HAVE 3 WEEKS MORE TO GO...hOW IS EVERYONE DOING ON PRE OP DIETS?

I go in for my pre-op this afternoon. I will be meeting with my surgeon as well as the nutritutionist (sp?). Wish me luck! 2 weeks until I get banded!

 :D :D :D :D :D:P :P :P :girl_hug: :girl_hug: :girl_hug:

I am counting the days 24 more to go into lapbandLand"

:D

Cannot wait to start losing and not feeling so tired all the time..

Maybe I could find a boyfriend then.:biggrin1: when I am skinnier.

So please for those who will be band may God bless you all.. :bump2: :gluck: :D my prayers are with you on your journey for we will be in the same boat:fish2:

May we all get thinnier together in a postive way and supporting each other.

I had my preop yesterday afternoon. We did a bunch of paperwork and we talked about my preop and postop diet. I think it has really started to sink in that I am going to do this. I left the surgeon's office in a bit of a daze. It's hard to believe that in 2 weeks I will be banded!

Hello everyone out there! My name is Kelli, and I will be banded by Dr. Spivak in Houston on May 3...I can't wait!!!! I'll be so happy once the surgery (primarily the anesthesia...makes me nervous) is over and I'm on my way to healing and losing! :clap2: YEAH!! I am so thankful for this site, I have had so many questions answered from just looking around and reading all of the helpful posts...thank you fellow bandsters.

Fellow Mayer jumping in here!

I'm going to be banded on May 9th with Dr. Hugh Houston in Nashville, TN. I have my pre-op and dietican stuff next Monday, April 24th. I'm very, very excited to move on with my life. I want to be active and comfortable and off all of the darn meds I take.

My big struggle will be head hunger. I'm working outside more to keep me away from the kitchen. I'm finding as long as I stay busy and away from the television I'm not as likely to snack.

Good luck and positive vibes to everyone!

Marianne
