Gee! where has the time gone since I was last here. I know spending it at the Hospital praying that dad will make it this time through. I had my visit with Dr. Srikanth and paid for my surgery. OK put a deposit down. $4000.00. He gave me a list of appointments to make and I went out in my car and schedule them all. So far I have seen my Physician Dr. Jacobson who stood behind me 100%. But felt a lot of the appointment were not needed. I saw the psychologist, guess I"m OK there. Went and had breathing test, guess I can breath, Today upper G.I., ultra sound, and blood work, then back to the pulmonary Dr. for follow up on test. Friday the cardiologist. and the 3RD the Nutritionist. I think I'm ready.. maybe they will move me up. I have had a few things happen the past few weeks that only grant this is the best thing I will have done. I had just told my sisters I was having surgery as we were having lunch at the hospital. As we went back we got to the elevator and got on Of course I was the last one on and what should happen? the dam over load bell rang. With tears in my eyes I stepped off. Then I was again at the elevator with my husband, mom, son, daughter in law and this time I was on the elevator when some skinny little B of a nurse gets on and the over load bell rings . I just said must me my clue and stepped out of the elevator. My son joined me. Rick on the other hand stayed and said he bit his tongue long enough and as he got off with the rest of the family he told the nurse what he thought of her. She just smiled at him. You know I am use to children saying things about my size and that is understandable but when adults do it, I get so pissed off!. It hurts so much. I can't wait for the day when I"m on that elevator and someone gets on and the bell rings, I will gladly get off and not have the last large person go through the embarrassment that I did. Dad did great he had his leg amputated and is feeling so good. He came home on Friday. I am going to weigh-inn today at Dr.S. hope it goes well. Nothing has crossed my lips other than protein. Hope they show a loss. Their scales do not match mine. I have met so many great people on lap band talk. I feel so lucky to have the support for them that don't even know me. I know we are all going through the same thing. And to hear about their success gives me such hope and confidence that I am doing the right thing. I think this is the first time I feel so positive about what I am doing. I shared with certain family and friends what I"m doing. Because we are such a close family it was important to me that they know. I was really afford to talk with my closest uncle Bob because he always knows the right way to do things and has many times told me you can do it on your own. Will after talking to my aunts I told them I was not going to tell Bobby and they new why and agreed. I could not stand my self for not sharing with him what was to be one of the most important things in my life to do. So the opportunity came when he called me to check in on dad. I said I have some news to share.. he said oh please nothing bad... I said oh now it the best news. I am have weight loss surgery. His first words were REALLY! I went on telling him what I was doing never giving him a chance to talk I ended by saying any questions about the surgery ?" he just said "I"m so Happy for you" BUT! oh great here it comes........." I want you to know I love you for who you are and what you are. I am so proud of you for doing this and I'm with you 100%." I just cried.... Its getting close to time to head to the Dr.. Gee nothing to eat and drink till after 10 this morning.... GRRRRR

Drewslou, I am so excited for you! I hope all goes well with both of you. My father was a quad- for 41 yrs. He broke his neck in a diving accident when I was very young! My parents already had 4 children so they didn't try for anymore. My mom was 24 yrs old, 4 children and a husband paralyzed for life. She is a very stong women and it sounds like you are too! I wish for you the best and a lovely family!

So I have not been on here in a long time. I thought I would post my current change. I am down 103.5 lbs since joining LBT and 45 3/4 inches I will not stay away so long. Hope all my May bandsters are doing well.[/ATTACH][/ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]6700

Paladin & 3 Loves, I did find my Dr. He is now at the hospital where I had my surgery at. I'm glad he moved I didn't like the other Dr. in the clinic. He can not preform surgeries any longer and I don't know why and he just kinda gives me the creeps. Just me! anyway my Dr. is out of town and will not be back in till the 11. Then he has to set up his office so no appointments till the end of the month. I'm doing OK. Just working hard. I'm at a plateau! have not lost anything in over a week ! it's kinda scary because this is when I would of given up before. I find my self saying "Oh hell I'll just give up" but then have to have a talk with myself and set things straight! hope you are doing well !

Just reading some comments and I think its time for me to get a fill again. I don't feel any restriction . I had my first gain this week. ( Maybe it was the peach cobbler from the restruant we had dinner at for our Anniversary) any way I think it time again. Only my Dr. is on Vacation and then openning his own clinic and the Surgical weight loss clinic in Tacoma will not tell me where he has moved to. Kinda make me MAD!. SO I'm on the search. IF any one in the NW know where Dr. Srikanth office is Please PM me or leave it on the board.

Hey you tattoo wanting people! My son, dh and I own a shop in Bellingham Washington. I have nothing to show of his work. HE keeps asking and I still am strong to my word. NO not now! that opens the door for him to keep bugging me. SO if you are ever in Bellingham, Washington check out Sabbath Tattoo. I think he has a my space page. ! Just a little advertising.

OK! checking the calendar, I think it may have to be Oct. before coming to IDAHO! the only weekend open in September is Sept 15 & 16. Some day I will have some free weekends! I think! If that weekend works for you all, let me know or I'll have to wait till October.

C 261.0/ CB MI 44.6 +1 (-118.9 lbs total) This is what I get for bragging on a other thread yesterday about no weight gain in 6 months! No more vacations!! I'll lose it next week.

Oh how I love to talk about the band! 3Loves (Michelle) congrats on the fill and 6 lbs that is great! Drewslove. Sorry to hear about leaky port. Hope they find it not leaking! it would be hard to have to go back in again. An aaamom Good luck with the PS. I know I will be head there too. I have great Bat wings! on my arms, elephant ears! on my thighs, and a tummy flap that could take out a person should It hit them. But with all this, I have never been happier in my life than I am now! I have had great success with the band. This past few days I have had a few PB's but I think its me and eating to fast. Need to slow down and focus on what I'm doing. AND my water! have had a hard time the past few weeks to get it in. But I will do it. I have been very lucky that since March 2006 I have not had a weight gain. I had one week of holding the same, which is OK, but I can't believe I could of done this! In the past maybe 12 weeks into a diet and I would give up! NOT now! I hope others are enjoying theirs as much as I am. I love the band! :mad:

Ok let me work on it with the Seahawk schedule and motorcyle riding schedule and Dad I will try to come down in Sept. Looking forward to it. Let me know of date that will work for you all! Dawg cant wait to meet you too!

Hey~ I want to be a honorary Idahoan! I have family in Pokey, Boise, Kimberly, and Blackfoot. Will that count! Wish I had some one to walk with. Maybe I"ll have to become a frequent flier.

Spent the weekend at the Northwest Sprint Car tour! Got good and dirty ! it was great. Tony's cars finished 1 & 3 rd. It was my first big tour race to watch. We bought our tickets last January when we thought it was the World of Outlaws. They ran at a track that is about 75 miles north of the track we were at. We saw Kinser, Ladowski, Oh I can't think of Tony's other divers name. Any way we had fun!!! Missed last nights race but we have it recorded for later this evening.

I didn't realize it was down. We were gone too! Took off to the Northwest Sprint car tour!!! GOT DIRT!!!! Spent Friday night at the track, and Saturday we took off on the bike and went for a 100 mile ride.. my first time riding a distance. IT was great! then back to the track for Sat. night racing and the main event! Mister Tony Stewart's cars came in 1 & 3 it was a fun night! boy did we get dirty! Back home early this morning to get stuff done around here now off to the hospital to visit dad and then to dinner for our Anniversary! 23 great years! Tried to attach pictures but did'nt work.. anyone else having problems?

Moorless & lindaV I too hit 259.8 this morning. I"m am so excited. Wow congrats on doing this not banded moorless. And Linda our stats have been so close since being banded. I talk to Susan today and I think I'm going to fly down and meet with her. She said you two met yesterday for lunch and had a wonderful time. Maybe we could all do dinner!

Many times we turn to things to hide what is really wrong. Please! when you feel the need for wine call a Friend and we will be there for you. Dam! I wish we were closer than 10 hrs apart.
