My ride is a 1997 Yamaha Virago 1100; my husband has a Honda Shadow. We took a good long trip in late spring but haven't done much riding since due to professional and personal obligations- not to mention the hottest June and July on record. We're hoping to do more riding as the weather cools off.

Are you all camping riders or moteling riders? We do a bit of both, prefer camping because it is cheaper and moteling because I have a passionate fondness for hot showers at the end of a long day.

Husband and I ride every weekend. I live just blocks from the Gulf of Mexico so we always ride the beach rodes. I always want to jump off my bike and plunge into the Gulf. It looks so beautiful.

In Florida you have to do most of your riding in the summer. Come winter all the snowbirds are here and you're taking your life in your hands, riding with them.

Case in point, just had my 99 Cobra Mustang t-boned and totalled by a old guy from Georgia. She was my baby!

Well ride safe!

Specify "Bikers", pedalers or motor? If you're talking motor, no it hurts like h@##, unless you're the b@#%h passenger. LOL

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
