Let's Share "i Love My Band" Moments

Recommended Posts

I love my band when people see me and say "Wow, you look great!" And when I can tuck my shirt in & like it that way!

I feel this way ALL the time!! I say it when I run into someone who almost doesn't recognize me. Or when someone tells me how fantastic I look. I love it when I step on the scale and see that significantly smaller number. I love that I went to visit my sister in San Diego with my hubby and my mom. We ate some not so great things (though I mostly stuck to my diet) and LOST weight...everyone else gained weight on that vacation!!!

Since my last fill I don't have much of an appetite and I don't get hungry for a good 4.5 hours. This past weekend my wife and I had Breakfast and then went about our day then around 1pm as I was driving she looks at me and says "I'm getting hungry". And I turned at her and said "really?" and I must have made a weird face at her because she laughed at me and said "I don't want to hear it band boy" LOL...it was quite funny.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
