Bad Choices, Feel Awful!

Recommended Posts

Yesterday started ok, I had a dr appt in the morning so I missed Breakfast and when I got home I had a salad in a wrap. It was my husbands birthday and the entire family went to Joe's Crab Shack, I got a meal and brought most of it home. I did have a piece of cake with my family when we got home, my son wanted to sing happy birthday so I indulged!

Today, the same thing... early start so no breakfast, lunch was spent at the grocery store (buying good foods for the house, so I have plenty to choose from for my meals) I had left over crab for lunch too.

Then I made some fresh eggplant caponata for a bbq tomorrow, tasted that, but ate a bunch of crackers!!

dinner consisted of fresh made Asian chicken burgers, they were slider size, I ate 2, with no bun and some broccoli!

I tasted more cake tonight.. shame and ate more crackers tonight! UGH! I feel awful.

Way too much food for the past few days, even though I didnt hit my calorie intake or my Protein intake. I feel so full! and I did not get in any exercise other than running errands!

Sorry for the complaining, I feel just horrible. I have cravings and I just want to eat even though I am not hungry. I still have no restriction, I see the doc on Wednesday. I hope to start the restriction process soon.

Hey, its no shame to have a bit of cake ! lots of people do ! i have a little treat everyday and include it in my daily log on myfitnesspal.com. ( chocolate should be one of the 4 basic food groups ) As far as breakfast goes, i have to have breakfast everday or im horribly cranky with low blood sugar. since i dont have time to sit down and eat a proper breakfast, i fill up several baggies each week with raw almonds, turkey Jerky and a half a Protein Bar. that way when i run out the door i can just grab a baggie, and maybe a yogurt or a Boost Protein Drink too. (I also keep a baggie in my purse ) It saves me from a Mcdonalds breakfast etc. Try making up some baggies or tupperware with your favorite healthy Snacks for those rushed mornings. Celery and pb, apples and almonds, Protein Bars, breakfast Cookies (from Taste of Home website) etc....... good luck !!!

Don't worry! We all have those days or multiple days! ;) I used to be on birth control years ago, but then I think I started to reject them because I would have the worst mood swings and the worst cravings for EVERYTHING. I have been off BC for about 2 years, but had to get back on again because of ovarian cysts. Doc put me on lowest dose and still was craving everything you could think of. Greasy and sweets. I felt like crap, so I got off the BC and cravings went away for the most part. But even still I have a craving and I usually fulfil it! ;) it happens.

Are you exercising? That can help off set a less than perfect food choice. Also - probably not a good idea to have leftover cake in your house. I know I couldn't have junk food in my house and have the willpower to resist it. Treat yourself, enjoy it, and move on! Tomorrow is a new start.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
