How (And Where) Are The June Bandsters?

Hi June Bandsters -

Well it's been 5 weeks for me and for the rest of us, it's been around a month(+/-) since surgery.

Just wondering how everyone else is doing?

I've lost a good chunk of weight. (23 pounds)

Had my first fill (only .5cc) yesterday that was uneventful.

Notice that my stomach makes gurgling noises (not gas, not hunger, not diarrhea) like Fluid is bubbling as it goes down. It provides relief when it does. Anyone else familiar with that sensation?

that is great on that loss..how were the fills? can you tell a difference??

The fills were no big deal. My dr is very conservative. The best advice I can give being an RN is really follow post band fill diet exactly. I have seen a lot of success and a few bad outcomes. U have invested in a very useful tool, use it don't abuse it.

June 15! Lost 40 pounds 37 after surgery! 40 more to go!

Has anyone else's weight loss slowed way down?

Mine has slowed down. I've increased my workouts though. I'm down 51 post/62 total.

Mine has slowed way down. I also had to have an unfill. That is not helping any. Last week I was back on liquids only and soft foods this week. I am trying to work out, more this week and see if it helps.

Has anyone else's weight loss slowed way down?

YES!!!! I have been stuck at the same weight for 5 weeks now. I'm thankful I'm not gaining anything but daaaaaaaaaang! I've been hitting it harder at the gym and everything and nothing is coming off! I knew there would come a point where I would level off. I'm hungrier and can eat more now. I hope my fill on Monday will help!

I finally to 189! But its been so slow... I go to the gym 5 days a week. I eat 850-1000 calories per day and track! I do need to increase my water for sure-so hard to remember to drink. Busy with a little one. I am wondering if I need another fill.... last time they were almost not going to because I dont get hungry very fast. I can eat more than a cup but they said thats not the "tell all". I dont want to get too tight.
