When You Hit Green Zone, You'll Know It

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the motivation. I am 3 months post op have had 3 fills with 3.5 in my band. I have very little restriction so i know i am not in the green zone but I do eat quite a bit less.I will say take advanatage of the green zone and bump up your work outs this will help you speed the process and most of all have that cute little body that we all want that is strong and beautiful. Good luck to you all I am so thankful for this message board.

Ok ...I agree with the guy up top, I though I was there, it took a little longer than 4 weeks but I slowly started to get hungry ...but I have a 10cc band and I have about 6.5 cc in it now ......I thought that I would be there now, but im not (almost there but not quite)...Is there anybody else out there that has gotten close to the max and HAVE NOT reached thier green zone

Here's a stumper. I had my last fill in February and thought I was in the green zone until I got gastro in May. Since then I've been very tight and I now understand why the nurse at my clinic always reminds me to take pinky nail sized bites and chew chew chew. For the first time since surgery I don't think of food AT ALL. I'm amazed how I just eat a few bites and I'm satisfied. Its great and the weight is falling off fast again. :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
