My Band Has Slipped Twice

I had my lapband surgery on 9-4-2008. It went great. In 7 months I was down 70 pounds. That is the good part. The bad part is my band has slipped for the second time and I have gained back most of the weight but I still get sick almost everyday. I have to have an upper GI in order to take the next step to getting back on track but unfortunately I was laid off my job 2 years ago and cannot afford to pay for this myself. I am just wondering if this has happened to any of you. I have the Realize band.

Don't you wonder how you gain weight when you are throwing up everything you are eating.

I feel very fortunate today.

Best of Luck

The most usual way u gain weight is by eating more calories than you are burning and people who are pb'ing a lot or getting food stuck a lot tend to try and eat something and that normally is slider food and not so good on the calories ...

i can have a really bad day and eat more than i should, i am some fluid missing from my band due to recent cosmetic surgery, but if i burn it off i dont put on weight .. the math is simple really, create a deficit and u dont put on weight ..
