  1. I had my lapband surgery on 9-4-2008. It went great. In 7 months I was down 70 pounds. That is the good part. The bad part is my band has slipped for the second time and I have gained back most of the weight but I still get sick almost everyday. I have to have an upper GI in order to take the next step to getting back on track but unfortunately I was laid off my job 2 years ago and cannot afford to pay for this myself. I am just wondering if this has happened to any of you. I have the Realize band.
