Just to give an idea of what an ideal bandsters diet can be/should be:

what did you eat today?

b....Quaker wieght control oatmeal with flaxseed

l.....fish/veggie Soup and 4 crackers

d....4 shrimp and steamed broccoli

went out with friends.....3 glasses Merlot

1 Protein shake

1 taco salad - yes the whole thing AND from taco bell - those aren't small!

5 chicken tenders and mashed potatoes and gravy - count them, FIVE

2 weight watchers toffee ice cream bars

UGH!!! Total calories???? A LOT!

Calling the fill clinic tomorrow! What the heck?

1/2 cup Bran Cereal w/milk

1 cup salad with 5 slices luncheon chicken meat and cottage cheese and diet dressing all mixed up

2 chinese chcken fingers with duck sauce and 1 egg foo young

1 cup breyers coffee ice cream

Well, it's pretty clear Im eating WAY too much - been going back and forth if i need a fill or not and i now know YES. I can eat just about what I have in the past - just a tiny bit less - esp if i chew it good enough. Now, I have to wait until April - bummer! Yesterday I ate:

b: smashed up white Beans (like a paste) on toast - yummy but a bit dry, had to chew like mad

l: 3 mini pepperoni pizzas (could have eaten a few more)

d: small piece of steak (about 7 bites) and fried up mushrooms and onions (about 1/2-3/4 cup)

during the day i had a low carb yogurt, sugar free hot cocoa and lots of crystal lite.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
