I had a fill Monday of 7.75 in my 10cc band I feel it tighter only because when I eat I feel my food going slower and kinda stuck feeling but I still feel like I can eat just as much as before my fill! What's the longest it's taking your fill to work???

I am in the same situation. I have 9.5 in an 11cc band and while i do feel restriction while i eat, i feel that it passes real quickly and i can pretty eat lots more. My last fill (to get to 9.5cc) was monday and i don't feel any different. Don't know what feeling full feels like anymore because i'm able to finish pretty large portions of food and then some. I havent lost anything in the meantime and it's getting very frustrating.

You need another fill if you can eat too much food. I'm assuming you're eating band appropriate foods and not slider foods?

Never mind, I missed the fill on Monday? But, maybe another one? Or have them take all saline out and refill?

i am starting off with what my nutritionist allows me to have each meal but then i go eat other stuff cuz i'm not full....

not sure what's going on; i have an appt in 5 weeks for another fill; i dont want to make it any earlier cuz i want to give this fill some more time and see if there are any changes.

If my pouch has stretched, they will have to remove all the Fluid, wait a few months and then start again. I don't know if i can handle yet another 6 months to a year of this waiting for the band to work. I'm just hoping that i get to my sweet spot soon........

My fills always take a week then they kick in and I think I am to tight when I am not ... Well most of the time. It takes a bit to learn how to eat after each fill. It's also very hard to stop eating when you start to fill satisfied but not full.

It can take up to 2 weeks for a fill to take affect. I would make sure to chew well. If you are not using a food scale you should start. Weigh out your Protein (3 oz) and then eat low fat/cals veggies until full.

Have you had any changes yet? My fill finally kicked in and I have good restriction a week later! I went from 186.0 to 183.8 since last Monday!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
