That happens. I gained a pound when i started solid foods don't worry but make sure you are healing now.

Stop weighing yourself, you will only get more discouraged. I would recommend weighing max once a week for the first month or so.

I had the same problem. My surgry was 4/16/12 I started at 213lds. Week before surgry all liquids lost 8lbs. After surgry I gained about 2 lbs, but then I started working out at the gym & home. I have a trainer he makes sure I work it off. Stay focused and you will lose. I weight 193lb. I am so proud of myself. My 1st visit is tuesday the 29th. I am here if u need support. I want to give back what everyone has been helping me.

Will this is a healing period; you do need to make healthy food choices or you will gain weight. For example you can mix canned tuna/chicken with low fat laughing cow cheese for a LOT less cals and fat than Mayo. Also be sure to weight/measure out protein to your doctor's specs. When you eyeball food servings you are guarenteed to think a serving is less than it actually is.

It is hard. You did it for your health & yourself otherwise you wouldn't have gone thru it all. I have used so many of the lap-band friendly receipes. I am not a cook but, now I am actually enjoying it. I am proud of me as well as you should be proud of yourself. Each day it gets better.
