  1. The small plate is a great idea. I go back to my doctor on Wednesday! Will be back on track then!!!
  2. Was banded may of last year. Two weeks ago I had my band emptied and have to go back next week to check that all is well. Praying it is because I need it. I have been eating everything in creation
  3. How does everyone do with salads and vegetables?
  4. Since I have the band I don't have the issue of over eating anymore. I don't always make the best decisions and that's why at times my weight loss is slow. But over all it has helped me with my portions!
  5. He thinks it was tight because I wasn't able to keep food and liquids down
  6. He thinks it was too Tight for too long and is irritated
  7. Had my band may 2012. I am down about 70 pounds. For the last few weeks I am really struggling with food. I also have not been able to eat most veggies and salad since my surgery. Dr drained the liquid out if my band tonight. Has me on a month of nexium and in 3 weeks going for an upper g I series test. Anyone have any issues like this?
  8. Having the band isn't the answer. For me, I still love the sweets and things also. I do weigh myself almost every week to make sure I'm not climbing up the scale again. I was banded May 2012 and I'm down about 70 pounds but it's been slow now. I could easily gain and I know it. But, I think about how much better I feel and get back on track. You can do it. Go see the dr. Weight loss is a rough road for all of us!!!
  9. I had to be under des care for a few months as well but once my paper work was submitted I was given a surgery appointment about 2 weeks later

  11. If I try to have one bite of a vegetable or sale I get that stuck feeling and most of the time end up vomiting
  12. I am ok with yogurt and pudding most of the time. But some days I cannot even drink the protein shake. I am totally fine omitting bread and pizza and pasta. But I want to have a salad or vegetables and for the most part can never have them
  13. Have my band since may 2012. I have lost about 70 pounds. I feel like I can never have a vegetable, a salad, fruits, healthy food. I have many days where I can't eat a meal at all and I am drinking coffees , having chocolate or something not good for me. Even if I take the smallest bite I cannot eat the above food mentioned. I got the band to make healthier choices. I am stuck now and not losing. Basically staying the same I want to make healthier choices ! Help
  14. Good for you. I feel the same way. Every pound is a struggle! Keep it up
  15. I have been having slow results but not gaining makes me feel better. I feel that at times I make poor choices that's why I am not losing faster. It's a tough journey for many of us. I often visit this site to make me feel better and get me back on track.
  16. That's a lot 50 pounds! I was banded may 1 and I have had two fills. I am trying to find a good place for me. I am down about 35 pounds and my dr is very happy!

  19. This is happening to me too! I was banded may 1. ESP when I wash it, comes out in clumps! My nutrionist said it is normal!
  20. I felt very restricted after my last fill. But as time passes I feel less restriction. Is this normal?
  21. How do you know you are in the green zone?
  22. I have to log the food. I think that will help! I also need to start exercising!
