  1. I had my first fill 2 days ago and I don't feel any different. I hear everyone talk about restriction and I don't feel anything like that. My stomach doesnt feel tight, and I am hungry all the time. I have lost 17 lbs since I was banded on 11-14-11 but I feel it was all willpower and nothing else. When does the tightness come in?? I am so confused and wondering why I had this surgery if it doesnt help with my hunger???
  2. I had (have) the same feeling all the time, I am just hungry. Eating low calorie soft foods is the only thing I can suggest. I had my first fill 2 days ago and I don't feel any different and I hoped I would. I am still hungry and I thought the fill would have made me feel full. I am really confused?? I was banded on 11-14-11 and have lost 17 pounds but I feel I did it all on willpower and nothing else. When does the tightness and full feeling come??
  3. You can eat real food only after 10 days? I am 7 days post op and am struggling with what to drink/eat..... Last night was the first time I felt hungry and I don't want to screw this up. I have lost 12 lbs so far. Seems I cannot find the instructions from the doctor on what to drink/eat and the timeline. I have been drinking clear broths and G2 and carnation instant breakfast, there has to be something else. Any tips would be helpful.
  4. I am fairly new here and I have not be able to figure out how to make a ticker. Can someone please explain it to me, I woujdl certainly appreciae it.
  5. Simone I am sorry to hear about your problems, I am sure everything will be fine. I was banded on 11-14-11 so it has been 6 days and yes the first few days are not fun, i have been feeling better each day that goes by. Gas has been my biggest problem and yes walking around helps get it moving on out! I hope things turn out ok for you. Like you I did this to make myself healthier and happier, lets both hope we have a happilhy ever after story! Regina
  6. I had my surgery on Monday 11-14-11 and today being 4 days later I feel much better but I know I wouldnt be able to go back to work. I think you will need more time than just 3 days, because on my 3rd day I was still sore and not feeling like myself. I would call the insurance company and ask them what the pending date means. Good Luck!
