Lapband & Amusement Park Rides

I had the Lapband with plication on May 8th. A thought crossed my mind that I didn't ask about before I was banded. Will still be able to ride the awesome six flags rides or that fun something of the past?

  • I sure hope so because I haven't been able to fit on most those rides in many, many years! I don't think it's a problem. I'll let you know in August! wooOOOOOoooohooOOOooo........

I did ask before I considered surgery and was assured it was okay! I can't wait!

You definitely will. I was banded 10/2010, and last summer, decided to go and 'see' if I could fit in the rides. I had a blast. Every ride, no matter how crazy, gave me no problem with band or port. Enjoy your new life, don't let fear hold you back!
