Are you on strictly liquids? What will they allow you to have? I am only allowed the Meal Replacements, Water, and broth!

I can have 2 protean shakes and a Soup at night. I can have broth and yogurt, cottage cheese. sugar free Jello and sugar free Popsicles.

I only do the Protein Shakes and soup and jello as needed in between. And water of course.

I hope it gets easier for you. When you have a hard time just remember why you are doing it!

I started the liquid diet on Monday with 3 shakes a day. Doctor just wants me to loose weight before surgery and get the fat out of my liver (if its fatty). I have lost 7 lbs since monday and am doing fine. I drink about 60 - 70 ounces of Water a day too which is flushing out my system. I just hope that the hunger stays away and that I wont cave in on this.

I am on day 6 of my 10 day liquid diet today. This morning when I weighed I had lost 5lbs. One pound per day is not too shabby. I am quite sick of the liquids though. Just the word broth makes me want to gag. I'm surviving on Protein Shakes, sugar free fudgesicles and crystal light. Four more days to go!

What Protein Shakes are you using? How do they taste? What are you mixing them with?

Well...I am doing way better than I thought..I have another 3 lbs gone since yesterday! that is 10 total so far this week. Im in shock. However as you all know, the more weight you have to loose the first drops fast..then it becomes the challenge!! But Ill take it....30 more to go!!

I am not doing the broth and Water yet since I still have to weigh in on the 8th...But it will be cake compaired to having all this weight on my poor little body. I am determined..just hope that stays with me!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
