Last Fill Was Very Strange...

Recommended Posts

I had my most recent fill on Monday. I felt very tight for a couple of days afterwards, which has never happened before. Last night, everything started to loosen up and I'm not feeling the restriction that I was. Very weird. I know this has happened to others but I've never personally experienced it. Anyone else get the restriction back after starting back on solids?

They say that it depends on what time of the day you are filled... How is your eating? Are you able to eat more?

I am at restriction and my last fill I def. felt tighter immedidately following; and the band gets tighter and looser depending on stress, etc.

I was filled at about 10 am on Monday. I'm still on soft foods until tomorrow so I'll have to see how my portions are once I start solids.

My first fill I felt nothing....2nd fill I had restriction, but it would come and go.

3rd fill was the charm for me.

Now, if you are at a place where feeling good restriction is the norm, 24/7, in the Green Zone, your band can get loose from time to time.

Not a accurate term, but people understand it.

I get into periods where my band gets loose. I know it because suddenly I can eat more that normal, over a few days.

When that happens, there are self techniques you can do to get it tight again.

But I don't know where you are at with your fills.

I don't get fills early in day when I am tighter. That does make it very tight in mornings when I first get up. Have to be careful for first meal. I don't eat for three hours before fill.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
