Getting Upset With Self

I had band placed on 1-30-12 and have only lost 8 pounds. I had my first fill on march 5 2012. And still nothing happening. I have been going to the gym daily and I walk 3 miles on thread mill and hour and bike the exerise bike for 1/2 an hour. I am making sure I have a intake of 45 protiens a day through food and not shakes as instructed. AND YET NOTHING. WTH am I doing wrong? I did better with the liquid diet before surgery then I am now. WHY???? I drink plenty of Water.

I really need HELP......

  • My two cents: 8 lbs is not bad for being 6 weeks out from surgery...don't beat yourself up! Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint. You're not eating enough. Your body needs fuel to burn, e

OK so I am here AGAIN for some inspiration. I was banded august 12 2008 and lost just over 80 lbs - now it seems as I have regained I have not been seeing my doctor and I feel bad going to see him - since I have gained and not lost. My eating habits are terrible and i have nto been excercising - someone send me some inspration. PLease

U need to do some good cardio ( u need to make yourself sweat :) )followed by some resistance / strength training, you might not be eating enough calories, most people who need to count the calories eat between 1000 and 1200 per day, so change something small and try that for a few days.

Make sure you reduce your salt intake otherwise u will retain some fluid if u are drinking lots .. maybe add some tea or coffee with skimmed milk as a filler in between meals .. that will give u a little more protein and calories without going overboard :)
