Clothing Exchange

Recommended Posts

There will be a clothing exchange hosted by the South Meadows lap band support group on April 1st. Time and loc TBA.

Start gathering up your clothes that you can no longer wear so you can donate them and hopefully pick some up for your new size! We also are welcoming folks who have not had weight loss surgery yet to stop by since we all know how hard it is to find plus size clothes.

Several group members are collecting clothes from those who cannot make it to the exchange but would still like to donate their old clothes. If you need information please email me Katie@griffonco.com.

All clothes need to be in at least decent shape. No under garments please. All sizes are needed.

Hello, I think I've seen you at the meetings before! I have a ton of clothes that I had folded and gotten ready to bring in before I ended up losing my band. I would still like to give them to people, but don't necessarily know that I belong at a Band support meeting when I ended up having to have mine removed. :cry Would you like me to drop them by your home? Thanks! Erin

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
