Just wanted to know who lives in the Portland metro area... Seems like the Oregon specific thread has been dead since last year. Where are you/did you get banded?

I got a date for March 20th! I'm excited!

Hi there! I was banded on the 20th and am doing fine. Great for you on the weight loss so far!

I'm from St Helen's ( near Portland),

and going to Owls as well. Banded 4/4.

I've been offline for a bit. Glad to hear everyones sucesses. I am still waiting on approval. The process with insurance has taken a bit of time. Keeping patient & I'm waiting for the callback any day now. Im nervous & excited (just want the surgery part to get here) I can't wait to start this chapter change. Lets keep this local thread going. Its pretty cool to to talk to people right here going through the same things.

Goin in to Pattersons office for my 5th fill today. Let hope there is some restriction finally

• Finally, I was approved by Aetna today!!! It's taken a while, I should receive a call tomorrow to sched the surgery date. Now this is starting to feel real. I'm a bit nervous for the surgery piece.
