First Fill - 9 Months Post Surgery

Recommended Posts

OK - I gave in and got my first fill - 4cc

  1. I can (and do) eat more than I should - about 1400-1500 cal a day and only light exercise.
  2. I lost 0lb this month.
  3. I am loosing my good insurance, and not sure when will be able to see my doc (not a good reason to get a fill just because of it - but did play role in my decision)

I had a great run with no fills - but it is time to use the tool I got. So my Wilpo (name of my band Will Power) is now 4cc fatter. Hope I start loosing again.

The fill took 5 sec and was so uneventful - I almost did not noticed it. Hope it will work hope it will work hope it will work :-)

Wow good for you going all this time with no fill...I just had my second today, first one 7 weeks ago at 4.2cc in a 10cc band and it did nothing "for me" so finally had my second today as a matter of fact, another 2.2cc so now i am at 6.4cc and am thinking this one will do the trick (please please please, lol) this journey is so much fun and such a roller coaster and i just keep reminding myself that i didn't put the weight on overnight and won't lose it that way. I started this journey at 320 and am now at 268, so 1day 1pound at a time...Good Luck to you :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
