I keep having questions about BCBS of Massachusetts, or if people are having the surgery done where I am, but I never see anything. Anyone from MA? Anyone?

I'm from MA. I had my surgery at Norwood Hospital with Dr. Adam Glasgow.

I had BCBS with my first band and Harvard Pilgrim with my revision. Insurances vary by plans instituted at your company. The best thing to do for insurance questions is to call the 800 number on the back of your card.

I am having surgery at Lahey Clinic. So did you have a hard time getting approved?

No, I was approved within days of the center submitting it for approval.
