It is exciting...I was just approved for my psych assessment. My surgery is scheduled for Dec 20th.. Merry Christmas to me!!! Kind of glad I don't have to worry about what to have for Christmas dinner with the family. ROCK ON.

Congrats! Are you self pay or going through insurance?

I live in Canada so our insurance does not cover the surgery. I am self paying.

Good luck. My surgery is scheduled for 12/29. I started my liquid diet today.

Good for you! I found out today that my insurance won't cover my surgery, so it's going to be self-pay. I had initially scheduled an appointment with a doctor locally, but after reading some of the forums here, I have an appointment on Wednesday in Richardson (Dallas). I'm so excited!

Woohoo! My final cosult and hopefully surgery scheduling is TOMORROW! It has been a long road and I am so ready! Good luck to all of us! So glad we have each other to come to for support!
