I can't get a band until I can figure out how to pay for it myself, so I thought I should join Jenny Craig or something. After finding out the cost of JennY Craig, I was very dissapointed I can not afford it.

I went online and looked around and found that ediets has a 'alternative to jenny craig diet'. I signed up for $15 a month.

The diet planner creates a meal plan based on everything I can find in the grocery store, and it includes lots of frozen and canned foods that can be heated in the microwave. It gives me an entire shopping list of things I need for that week. I am so excited. It really doesn't seem to be all that expensive. I can probably get away with spending $50 a week on the diet groceries if I plan ahead.

The ediets website also offers weekly check in to keep track of the weight loss etc. I am excited!

I like eDiets set-up, as well. I was a member for a couple months a few years back (before I stopped my dieting madness), but was just too overwhelmed with shopping lists etc. to get a lot out of the program.

Congrats and good luck!

I did eDiets for almost a year, and did really well. I stopped when I had my hysterectomy, and long story, but gained all the weight back and then some in the 3 years between following eDiets, and getting the band. I loved the organization of it, and didn't mind the shopping lists, because once you got used to it all, it was really a help and not confusing. Good luck! Cindy

Before being banded, I did ediets as well. I loved their program and organization. I think it is really the most efficient way to plan your meals. I might even do it alongside with my band.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
