Sorry, but I don't have any issues with chicken. If I don't have any kind of sauce it will go down very slow but I use sauce the majority of the time. Try some sort of low calorie dipping sauce.

How do you make the chicken? The drier it is the harder time you will have with it...try making it in a slow cooker or braising it so it stays super moist.

I';ve had some problems with chicken getting stuck. I find that I really have to chew, chew, chew and then it goes down better. I also agree that the moister the better for getting it down. Hope this helps.

I bake it...maybe it's the fact that I can't cook lol....

When you are baking it add chicken broth to it. You have to keep chicken very moist. Also when you microwave chicken make sure you add some kind of broth to it. Microwaving seems to dry out food a lot.

I can do chicken just fine if I chew the heck out of it.

Sometimes. If I make it at home then I've never had a problem but I have had issues ordering it out so I don't order it at restaurants anymore.

When you bake it, put something like chicken broth, a canned Soup or salsa over it, then put tinfoil over the pan to trap the moisture while baking.

You could also invest in a crockpot, people report good success in putting chicken in it, covering it with salsa and cooking all day.

You could also try cooking thighs instead of breasts. Breasts while lower calorie, tend to be dryer. Thighs are much moister.

And last of all, Rotisserie chicken from the grocery store is usually VERY tender.. the whole bird. :)

Hope this helps.

My Dr told me to eat chicken thighs if I had an issue with the breasts, they are moister. I eat a lot of chicken so I am so glad my band likes it!

yeah me and white meat are no longer on speaking terms..lol! no matter how juicy it is my band doesnt like it. gets stuck everytime no matter how well i chew. i know white meat is healthier, but i'm content with sticking with dark meat. Me and steak no longer converse either! LOL

I usually have problems with chicken also. I have to cut it up really really small. But sometimes that doesnt even help. It has gotten a little better since I had an unfill, but It still goes down rough.

It is hard for me as well. I agree with making it moist and chewing well and even smaller bites than usual. Ordering it at fast food never goes well for me too :(.

I have real problems w9ith chicken and fish, watm chicken thighs are a bit easier but I have to chew, chew , chew and eat really slowly. I can only eat a couple of small mouthfulls. Sorry you have this problem but I am glad I am not alone. Chicken was always one of my staples when I was dieting

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
