  1. Thanks the pain has eased and I am feeling considerably better. Hopefully the band will sort itself before I see my doctor again in the new year. I didn't have heartburn just severe stabbing pains and vomiting. I would still call your doctor on Monday to make sure you are on the right track I delayed because I didn't want to disturb the doctor over xmas but I would have saved myself a lot of pain and I would have been able to eat and drink something. I got to the stage when liquids wouldn't go down. I was coughing at night and vomiting in my sleep. Thanks for your reply hope you get sorted out. Despite my problems which are the first in four years I know I wouldn't have lost the weight without the band.
  2. Sorry to hear about your problems. I had a fill recently which caused similar problems. I was unfilled today and still have the pain. I have been advised liquids only for 24 hours. My doctor's office says I should have contacted them earlier even tho my problems got really bad on Xmas Eve and my doctor thinks my band has now slipped. I would contact your doctor for advice. Hope this helps.
  3. I have the same problem. I am not getting much sleep as I am also being sick with the coughing. I am not sure when I can contact my doctor. so I would be interested to hear what your doctor says. I have been banded for 4 years and not had this problem before. Hope you get sorted quickly

  8. Sorry you have not had success with your band.... maybe if you call your doctors office they can advise... good luck
  9. Hi I didnt have much gas after the op. After a few hours I felt as if I had done way too many crunches at the gym lol. I also have a desk job and found sitting for a long time was the only thing that caused me any discomfort. I think trying to move about often helps.
  10. I love caramel popcorn from Crackerbarrel and it slides down.... as I live in UK this is not usually a problem as I cant get any lol
  11. I have real problems w9ith chicken and fish, watm chicken thighs are a bit easier but I have to chew, chew , chew and eat really slowly. I can only eat a couple of small mouthfulls. Sorry you have this problem but I am glad I am not alone. Chicken was always one of my staples when I was dieting
  12. mmmm this looks delicious, cant wait to try some of these recipes....thanks for posting the link
  13. head hunger for me is not a physical thing....I don't feel hungry I just want to eat someting. Sometimes its a craving for different tastes, especially at night but often its just a feeling that I want to eat. Its as if something is missing .....probably because of the eating habits developed over a lifetime.
  14. I am so glad to see this challenge....my band was too tight and I have gained weight and lost some motivation.... I am in for 19lb
  15. Hi I didn't lose this week.....hope to hit Onederland by end of February Kathy
