scar tissue build up around port

I seem to have scar tissue built up around my port. It's not so much that you can see but it seems like alot when I poke around. I'd say my port and scar tissue all together is the size of 1/2 a golf ball. Does this seem normal?

Mine gets kinda tender if I eat too much (don't know what that's about?) And it gets tender randomly every now and then. No redness or anything though.

Me three guys (or gals I guess)! Mine is the size of a golf ball and I have the low/small profile. Mine maybe swelling though - I'm starting my 3rd week banded. It is also tender.

Could it be that as you are losing the weight around your abdomen, that it appears to be bigger? That would seem to make sense...but you should have your dr. look and let you know if it is okay. Cindy
