Posting Photos as Avatars

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I figured out how to resize my photo to know more than 50 x 50 pixels... but every photo I try is of such bad quality. How did those of you who have posted your photos, get such clear shots?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Ann,

Try taking a photo with higher resolution. If you're scanning a regular photo, set your scanner for a higher quality. The photo you have here looks like it was a low-res photo.

And Kelly's right--you look great! :)

Thanks Kelly & Alexandra for the flattering comments! I guess I am one of those “lucky people” (if you really want to call it that), that seems to wear there weight well. But, I am still up there and considered morbidly obese with a BMI over 40 and a lifelong history of battling with my weight. I just know that I probably wouldn’t look “healthy” if I lost 100 lbs or more, so my goal is more around 75 – 85 lbs. We will see how I feel once I am banded and start losing!

I will try taking a photo with a higher resolution and see what happens.

Thanks for the help.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
