No More "Big and Tall Stores"!

Recommended Posts

I went today and bought a couple of long sleeved dress shirts and for the first time in over 15 years I didn't have to go to the "big and Tall" store. Just went to a regular old clothing store! Yea me!!!!

That is great! It is such a wonderfull feeling to fit into smaller clothes. I think it's even better than seeing the scale go down, although it's close lol. Keep up the good work!

Yay Rick! Feels great, doesn't it? I love finding clothes at regular stores.

As I've been losing I've made a point of cleaning out my closet regularly. If I try it on and it doesn't fit right, out it goes. Life is too short to keep old clothes I don't ever intend to wear again.

I was in tight 3X shirts when I started this. It wasn't long before I blew through 2X, and I'm now wearing XL shirts. Pants have followed similar size changes. My blue jeans started out in the 44-46 waist range, but the last pair I bought are a comfortable 36 waist. Needless to say, I'm thrilled.

Congrats to everyone who is getting smaller!

Dave

I've rarely ever shopped any place else but soon will be going to regular places also to shop. My surgery is next Tuesday! Good luck to both of us!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
