Traveling with lap band

Ive got a question has anyone had problems while traveling and going threw a body scanner? Or when TSA sees the band they know and dont bother you? Im flying to charlotte nc, as well as las vegas both places have body scanners

The band has no metal. It shouldn't be a problem.

They shouldn't see the band the scanner just outlines your body, not an x ray machine

I have traveled several times since my lapband -- gone through many majoy airports -- never had a problem!
