1. To me it sounds like you would be better off with the bypass. People say if you have reflux with the band you will have it with the sleeve. If I was you I'd do bypass that way you don't have to do a sleeve to bypass later. Just makes more sense to me. Good luck and hope all goes well.
2. Never heard of this surgery can someone tell me about it?

band to sleeve

Isn't Obama care insurance just other insurance companies that offer a tax break so it's cheaper? I didn't know that Obama had his own plans? At least here in Oregon it's like that.

Am I really the only one ?

I've lost 37 lbs but my current weight is 155. I thought I'd be smaller but I'm wondering if this is where my body wants me. I lost over 120 with my band.

band to sleeve

Yes I eat when I'm not hungry I tend to just eat to eat. My current weight is 155 but I go up and down all the time. I seen the most weight loss in the 1st 3 months. I have lost any in probably 3 months or more. I do work out but I could probably do a little more. I go about 4 days a week. I can eat more now than before too. Which scares me. I miss the stuck feeling which stopped me from eating before.

Just scheduled tummy tuck

Just prepare yourself for the intense pain that comes with a tummy tuck and also be sure that you will have someone with you 24/7 for the first 2 weeks. Because you won't be able to do much for yourself.
9. I had a augmentation in 2012 with a 533cc mod profile and ended with a D-DD I wasn't happy with size or shape so I went back and got a 700cc UHP I ended with a DDD I am much more happier now but even with a 700 I think I could have gone bigger. Do you have lots of breast tissue already? If so a 400 will be good if not then your gonna be small. Anyways. Just keep up on your pain meds and muscle relaxers you will do great!!
10. I had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation with my band and never had to deflate it

band to sleeve

I'm about 8 months out and have only lost 37 lbs. It's definitely different from the band you have to work ALOT more with the sleeve. The restriction is different as you don't get stuck which makes you stop eating. You kinda have to stop yourself. I as well lost a lot with the band oover 100 lbs I know it's frustrating but keep trying you will figure out what works for you.
12. Every doctor is different I had TT and breast augmentation at the same time its a 8 hr surgery the next 1 ill do is my arms and legs. If you want to do more then 1 at a time id find another doctor because alot of doctors do but some dont
13. Im about a year and a half out and mine are very light yours are healing nicely

Self-control!?

I personally feel they shouldn't have to stop because you have a hard time with those items. That's not there fault I could understand if it was your husband who is always trying to bring crap around. But really other people at work have there own choices. I know it may be hard but you just have to stick your ground and not pick up that candy. The end picture is much better then that candy. Good luck.

Tummy tuck

I didn't because ive never had problems with blood clots but its something definitely to worry about it can happen to any of us. Just stay positive and try not to think about it.

Tummy tuck

You will do great dont worry. Ne ready for lots of pain and keep up on your pain meds so your comfortable
17. Ever doctor is different for what they want you to be. I was 180 when I had my tummy tuck and breast augmentation. And im now 155 not because of those surgeries but because I kept losing after I probably should have waited a little longer. But if you want to be 175 then your pretty close id say your ready.
18. Im a band to sleeve patient and wish I would have gotten the sleeve first. Yes I lost 120lbs with the band. But it slipped and had to be removed. I gained 28lbs then choose to do the sleeve. Its more scary to think of having something bad happen with the band then getting your stomach cut smaller. At least for me it is. I had to have 3 surgeries if I would have just picked the sleeve from the start I would have had 1. Also it took me 2 years to lose 120lbs and I still didn't reach goal. Alot of people with the sleeve reach there goal in 6 months to a year. Of course everyone is different but that is what I have seen at least.
19. i as well know people who have gained weight back with the bypass as well. weight loss surgery is what you make it! im a band to sleeve patient and done pretty good im 3 months out today. surgery day i was 192 and today im 155. when I started the band i was 292. I dont think you will be disappointed with the sleeve.
20. My son was 14 months when I did it but I had lots of help my husband lifted him for me for a couple weeks. So I just recommend having help for awhile.
21. I had my band a little over 2 years. The sleeve recovery was a slower then the removal. The first couple days were the worse.
22. Get that band out!! You will love the sleeve its 100 Times better! !
23. I gained a total of 28lbs from the time I was completely unfilled to the time I got sleeved. I had to do my surgery in two steps like how you surgeon does it. The recovery for the removal was SO easy at least for me I was back to my normal self that evening.
24. loving my sleeve

25. ive lost 25lbs in 23 days. im 167 id like to be 140/130 or so. I'm losing pretty quick i think. but everyone is different.
