Crazy question. Skydiving with the band?

Recommended Posts

Okay. Crazy question, but is it okay to skydive with the band? I know I should ask my doctor, but thought I would ask ya'll first. Has anyone ever done this with the band? I'm thinking about skydiving, but then again, I think I'm crazy. Hehe.

My Dcotor said not even to be jumping on a trampoline much less out of a plane. That is a question for sure for the dcotor! I know I say this all the time but love the puppy.

No jumping on a trampoline? Really? Wow. My doctor hasn't said anything about limiting my activities and he knows I ride horses on a regular basis, which is a constant fall risk.

One thing about skydiving, if the chute doesn't open the last thing you are going to have to worry about is dislodging the band.:D I think sky diving sounds wonderful and I hope you get to do it, Jessica.

My friend went skydiving after getting a lap band! Not sure how long after, but she did it with no problems! I will sky dive one day, too! FUN!

This guy I went to school with posted his skydiving trip on FB so I thought it would be cool to do. My cousin and I have talked about it before, and there is a place close to where I live. I don't know. I think I could do it, but when I get up there, I'm afraid I would chicken out. I'm sure it is pretty scary, and it's like $200 plus to do it. If I pay that money, I will be jumping out of the plane dang it. Hehe.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
