Did you try to increase your Fiber? After my second fill - I finally got to feel what it was like to get something stuck after I thought I didn't have enough in the fill. However, my nutrionist said to increase your fiber..such as an apple and it will give you a fuller feeling that will last longer...also something like oatmeal for Breakfast --has a longer period to break down. Look at what you are eatting and add some good Snacks like fruit in between. You just don't want to get to many fills because it will eventually hit its max and you do not want that to happen too soon- as this can take years to hit your goal and maintain it..and later on you might really need the fill. Just some of my thoughts.

I think May seems like a long way away. I would call and see how soon your surgeon will do another fill. Increasing Fiber is a good idea, protien as well. Good luck!

I think you can get a fill every 3-6 weeks...not 100% sure. My first fill was 3.10 and my next is 4.21 so that is under 6 weeks...hope this helps :)

My doctor allows fills after 3 weeks. Took me 6 months to get restriction so this could be waiting game.

I just got my second fill and am feeling the same way as you. When I had my first fill, I felt the same way. Then, about two weeks after the fill, it hit me that I had more restriction. I've read that it can do that.

My doctor only does fills every 3 months. He wants you to give yourself time to physically and mentally adjust to the previous fill. I think that is a good thing. As another person mentioned, you don't want to completely fill your band too soon. I was banded on 11/22 and have only had two fills at a total of 3 cc.

I think the suggestion of increased fiber is great. Too bad my doctor doesn't allow me to have apples or oatmeal. Boo! Keep your head in the game. You can do this!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
