I am at 3.9 cc and finally have decent restriction. Nothing sticks unless I eat too fast or dont chew it enough.

I don't have anything that I cant eat. I would be seriously screwed if I could'nt eat chicken; it's my primary Protein.< /p>

tortillas, unless I use them as a pizza base and bake them till crunchy.

doughy bread. crisp bread is ok.

Pork rinds (too dry)

any really dry meat... except Jerky. Jerky goes down fine.

I have found that there is nothing I can't eat (which is not good thing) as long as I take small bites and small swallows, and take my time chewing.

I've been stuck and slimed a few times, but learned that was because I rushed.

Sgt, I just had my 3rd fill today bringing me to 6.5cc... prior to this fill the only things that really gave me trouble if I ate them too fast or too big bites were breads and oatmeal. And I don't really eat either of those much then or from here on out. I decided to cut out rice and Pasta prior to banding too partly cuz I'm scared to eat them  Seriously, nothing else is a problem for me, but there are things I already was not eating that I've heard people have trouble with- e.g. red meat.

I have trouble with bread ,pasta. But the worst is red meat it seems to go down ok but 15mins later it just comes back up as it cant digest, this happens no mater what form and how much i chew or go slowly. Its frustrating as i love my red meat ive been living on chicken and seafood.Oh and apples dont digest either

bread seems to be my only downfall... I eat hamburgers/chicken sandwiches with only one piece of bread, and chew really good, or no bread at all.

"Chew chew chew" is the hardest rule for me to follow.

I was banded on 2/7l/11. I haven't had any fills yet and not sure about restriction. I just absolutely know when should not swallow one more teeny tiny bit of food ha ha. So far the only things i "cant" eat is macaroni and cheese, and grapes. Very very painful. Now i'm afraid to try any other Pasta and that's one of my favorite foods. I had 1 fried ravioli last night and it went down very easy - maybe because it was crispier - not sure. I'm not having any trouble with bread and i can eat think crispy pizza ok.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
